How to Hack Nokia 5800 From Step 1

Why do you have to hack your Nokia 5800?

Well, without hacking the phone it is not possible to install certain third party softwares. As for this reason you won't be able to install most of the freeware available for your Nokia 5800 ultimately you would miss most of the fun.

Lets get started......


Not only for 5800 this could be used for other Nokia phones as well. But i cant guarantee since i haven't tried it with any other phones.

IMPORTANT:
Try this at your own risk.

--STEP 1-- GETTING THE .cert AND .key FILES FOR YOUR PHONE

-> First of all before hacking you should have the .cert and .key files for your phone. These two file are used to sign unsigned softwares at a later stage.

-> In order obtain these files goto "http://cer.opda.cn/en" which would look like the following image.



-> You should get registered before proceeding.

-> After the registration is successful login to your account. When you are logged in, a page that is similar to the image given below would be displayed.



-> In that page click on the "Apply Cer" which is shown in the black circled area in the above image.

-> That will take you to a page asking for the model and the IMEI.

-> For the "Model" just type "5800"

-> You should get the IMEI from your phone. Dial *#06# and that would give you a serial number. Provide that serial number for IMEI and confirm it. IMEI has to be a 15 digit serial number. When everything is entered click on "Submit Application"

-> It would take some time to get the .cert and the .key files. For me it took around 5 hours. It could me more or less for you. Once the files have been provided it would look like this. Two files are in the circled area. Click on them to download.



--STEP 2-- SIGNING HelloOX2

-> Before starting step 2 to you should have the HelloOX2 and the FreeSigner softwares. These softwares could be downloaded from the following link

After downloading transfer the HelloOX2 and FreeSigner to a folder in the memory card. You could use X-Plore(I have provided along with the other softwares) to access the memory card\folder

Ex :- MemoryCard(E:)\MySofwares\

-> Then first install the FreeSigner.sisx and run it from applications which would look the following.



-> Select "Add Task" and it would take you to a screen as follows asking to select the file.



-> Here specify the location of the HelloOX2.sisx.

Ex :- MemoryCard(E:)\MySofwares\HelloOX2.sisx

-> After you find the HelloOX2.sisx select it and click on options and select add.



-> When the add is selected a new menu would appear as shown below, from that select "Self Sing".



-> Then HelloOX2 would be shown as the selected application that you are going to sign using your .cert and .key files.



-> Before signing the application make sure you have given the correct path for your .cert and .key files. Go to Options->Settings to set the path for the files.



-> After that click on options and select "GO!" to sign the application.



-> The following screen would appear when the application is signing.



-> If you come up to this step without any errors popping up you have signed your HelloOX2 successfully. Remember you can sign any application in the same way using FreeSigner and using the same .cert and .key files.

--STEP 3-- INSTALLING HelloOX2

-> Using X-plore goto the floder which you have transfered the HelloOx2 from your PC. In the same folder there would be the HelloOx2_Signed.sisx file.

Ex :- The file which i have provided you is "HelloOX2.v2.01.Unsigned.fixed"
So after signing there should be another file called
"HelloOX2.v2.01.Unsigned.fixed_Signed.sisx"

-> After locating the file select it to Install it. Select "Continue" and "OK" in the popups in order to proceed the installation.

-> While the installation it would ask you whether you want to install "RomPatcher" and "Modo" select yes for both.

-> Finally after the installation it would say the installation is successful and it is safe to uninstall HelloOX2. Sorry i can't remember the exact message to provide you with a screenshot since i have already cracked my 5800.

-> If you get some thing similar to what i have mentioned above then you have installed HelloOX2 successfully.

--STEP 4-- PATCHING Installerserver_FP2

-> Now only one more thing is left to do. Go to "RomPatcher"
Applications->RomPatcher. There would be "Installerserver_FP2" with a blue icon in front and "open4all" with a green icon in front.

-> Select the "Installerserver_FP2" goto Options->patch->patch. This would execute the patch and there would be a green icon in front of "Installerserver_FP2" after patching.

-> After patching again select the "Installerserver_FP2" and goto
Options->Patch->Addtoauto.

-> Finally you should get a similar screen as shown below.



-> If you get that screen you have officially hacked your NOKIA 5800!!! Congratulations!!!!
